• The first church building of the Baptist Church — location Petru Rareş Street, duration of the building process 1936-1941
• The church building was closed during 1942-1944
• The second pastor Aurel Lazăr ordained 1955, retired 1990
• The church was ministered by pastor Elisei Pecheanu, 1990-1992
• The third pastor — Timotei Rusu — ordained october 1993
• Dedication of the new church building was June 23, 1996, location M. Kogalniceanu street, No 14
• The fourth ordained pastor — Remus Groze — ordained May 2001

Singing together with the whole congregation is the specific for the baptist churches, as well as choir singing.

Since 1928, the Church in Deva, which comprised by that time 29 baptised members, decided to establish a choire. Therefore they asked for the help of the Music teacher Szekely, who prepared the first choir, numbering 18 persons.

Over the years, the choir members increased, as the church members multiplied. Thus, in 1966 there were 34 choire members, in 1980 there were 100 and by 1988 the choir numbered 115.

Over the years the choir was conducted by:
Szekely, Boşorogan Pavel, Zorletean Traian, Borha Petru, Cohan Ioan, Popa Ştefan, Mârza Ilie, Vilik Iosif, Ciora Avram, Jula Emil, Pantea Dorel, Mârza Timotei, Mârza Teofil, Aradi Daniela, Lup Ioana.

Presently, the choir is conducted by:
Ilie Mârza, Daniela Aradi, Mârza Teofil.
